A lot of schemes have been started for development in rural sector, but these schemes can achieve its target or not? “The government’s rural jobs programme is in its youth and centre will continue to push it with further allocation this year”, is what Rural Development Minister,Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar said.He also said that under rural development they are focussing on two dimensions— one is creation of basic infrastructure, and two, means of livelihood in villages. Mainly, by 2019, government would try that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, all habitations get connected, one crore beneficiaries get houses under Awaas Yojana, and under MGNREGS, the daily wage earner not only gets 100 days of work but also creates water conservation and other assets. He said that government wants to double the income of farmers.Lets see if government can acheive it or not.
