Janani Sishu Suraksha Karyakaram started by Ministry of Health to ensure better facilities for pregnant women and new born child by providing free  ambulance services from home and drop back,free delivery/caesarean section;free drugs,diagonstics and blood transfusion and similar facilities are provided to child upto 1 year of age. This will be beneficial for those mothers who can not afford these facilities and this will also decrease infant mortality rate.
