GST Roll out- 80 lakh existing tax payer of Excise, Service tax and VAT can start migrating their registration from existing tax regime to Goods and Service tax Network portal by November 8. On this date GSTN, are realizing enrolments, that means getting these assesses on to the system. This will help industries and other stakeholders to get ready for GST implementation from April 1, 2017.

GSTN, a not-for–Profit entity incorporated in March 2013, has been set-up to provide IT infrastructure and Services to central and State Government, tax payers and other Stakeholders for hassle free implementation of GST. It has also been allowed to partner with other agencies for creating an efficient and user- friendly GST eco system.
