PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) launched last year on 25th march turned out to be very helpful as it helped in speeding up many development schemes.It has pushed 136 project involving investment of around 8 lakh crore.Every project comes with a deadline and government agencies have to stick to it.Work on projects like Nangal Dam Talwara Railway line which has been pending since1981-82 has advanced.This unique initiative will reduce delays and also help in keeping tabs on handling and resolution of public grievances.
