After being tagged as anti poor NDA government has shifted their focus on farmers and  launched schemes like Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. Mr.Modi wants to empower our farmers by starting schemes like this.Under these scheme 1.84crore soil health cards have been distributed,it also targets to cover all 14 crore farm holdings to all farmers by march 2017, farmers can avail loans like short term crop loan, post harvest loan and  irrigation projects,farm ponds and dug wells will also be implemented.NDA government in year 2015-16 approved an amount of Rs.13496.57 crore as relief to the drought affected states till now. A lot of steps are being taken by Modi government for farmers.
