Election comes and political people start releasing new schemes. One such scheme has been started by Akhilesh Yadav to give free mobile phones to those who come under the category of below povery line (BPL). This is the first initiative of Samajvadi government in the field of digitisation. The yojana is for students who have passed 10th from UP. But there are many questions left un answered like the eligibilty criteria has not been clearly defined and how poor can fill these forms online with no access to internet. Akhilesh might have just tried to jump on the bandwagon of digitistion. But if they work on it then this scheme can be beneficial for unemployed youth to stay connected with digital India.
