Seventh Meeting  of GST Council on its first day of two days started on friday, 22^nd December 2016, finalised 197 Clauses of the Central GST and State GST laws. Another 3-4 clauses relating to definition of states with respect to territorial division and the issue of dual Control or cross empowerment will be discussed later. The Council will take up the draft Compensation law and the Integrated goods and Service Tax law on the second day of ongoing meeting i.e Friday, 23^rd December 2016.

After today the next round of the meeting will be held on January 8^th, 2017
