An allottee can write a representation addressed to the DM explaining his grievance and praying for the compliance of the RC issued by the RERA within a specified period of time.
The time period of paying the money lapsed, few more months also went by chasing the builder to pay the money as per RERA order but all this begged no results and Homebuyers are forced to knock on the doors of RERA Authority again.
In the matter of Mr. Anil Mnagaldas Vade & ors. vs. Siddhitech Developers, the delay in filing an appeal u/s 44 of RERA Act, MREAT allowed delay of 14 months & 22 days to homebuyers.

The RERA authority of Maharashtra ordered a builder to refund an amount of Rs. 1.8 Crore to a homebuyer because after the passage of two years the builder failed to register agreement to sale and had already charged 30% of the price.
An RC was issued for recovering 3.04 crores, based on the same a 15 days’ notice was issued to clear the dues post which due to non-compliance builders were arrested.
UPRERA Authority shorlisted 10 housing project in Noida and Greater Noida, which may be deregistered within this month for the reasons of delays and non-compliance of the orders passed by the Authority.
The authority has received close to 1,150 complaints from the district of Gurugram against builders for delay in various projects. In lieu of the same in September alone the authority has issued notices to almost 52 builders.
The Housing Societies are also brought under the authority of RERA, immediate relief can be sure shot guaranteed, since the Complaints herein are dealt in an expeditious manner with instant relief to the innocent buyers.
Finally, the Real Estate regulation and Development Authority of Punjab has woken up to the plights of homebuyers.
