An IT project has been deliberately united with the objectives of the Kerala state government to grow competitive and vivacious economic zones where people can live, work, and play at same time. The Board of Smart City-Kochi, is a joint venture IT SEZ between Tecom Investments, a subsidiary of Dubai Holdings; along with Kerala government, which appointed Mr. Manoj Nair as the new chief executive officer (CEO) for the said project.

Mr. Nair is an extremely skilled executive and brings in robust knowledge in developing alliances. He was a former senior executive director with Dubai Properties Group of Dubai Holding, having a background in real estate strategy development, project management, resource and cost optimisation, corporate governance and stakeholder management.”

Smart City-Kochi is a 246sq. acre business and technology park, once completed. The master plan of Smart City-Kochi features world-class information technology and enabled services infrastructure, along with knowledge-based developments and offerings including residential projects, schools, higher education, sports, retail and hospitality developments.
