The ongoing projects developed in rural areas of Rajasthan to be covered under the Real Estate Regulation and Development Act (RERA). A notification has been released by the authority for ongoing projects in rural periphery of the State to register with State RERA within 90 days.

Developers who failed to register under Rajasthan RERA in stipulated time in rural areas which will also face penalties just as urban areas. A penalty of 10% of the project cost will be imposed on developers who fail to register under RERA.
