The exporters particularly from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) hardly have financial adequacy to pay their GST liabilities for 3 months without having a refund in the interim.
For the leisure of MSME category, the Central Government is considering a proffer from the industry to allow small firms to file quarterly returns even as they pay taxes on a monthly basis under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) presidency.
As per the discussion in the meeting, a doorway limit would be granted for small business for the amity.
Peculiarly, provisional input tax credit may be extended to 6 months from the current 2 months. This will not only help them in the cross-matching of invoices through GST Network (GSTN) portal but also saves the time of the working capital for small businesses.
