Though the deadline for Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Registration ended on July 31, 2017, there are nearby 400 registrations that still hang out with Haryana State Authority. Few reality projects have received registration certificate till now within in the state.
Haryana RERA (HRERA) Committee said most of the applications for RERA Registration were received in last 3 days as the State Government notified the RERA Rules on July 28, 2017. There are projects who have not registered themselves with RERA, but it is not available in numbers.
As per section 3(1) of RERA Act, no developer can advertise their ongoing projects without getting themselves registered under RERA. As per the sources, RERA committee would take at least a month to register all the projects that had applied for the registration. Henceforth, the projects who have applied for registration will have to wait for another month to advertise their ongoing projects.
Previously, notices have been issued to 20 developers who advertised their projects without RERA Registration to which developers quarreled that delay has been done from State Government then no penalty should be charged for the same.
